Position Details

• Location: Miami, FL

• Position Type: Part-Time, Afternoon Schedule

• Compensation: $25+/hr DOE

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM

• Travel: Rare, but occasional flexibility appreciated

• Start Date: Immediate

General Responsibilities

After-School Care & Pickups

• Safely pick up children from school and transport them home

• Manage after-school transitions and provide a structured routine

• Ensure school belongings, homework, and supplies are organized

Homework & Academic Support

• Assist with homework assignments and school projects

• Provide educational enrichment and encourage positive learning habits

• Communicate with parents about academic progress when needed

Snacks, Meals & Healthy Habits

• Prepare nutritious snacks and light meals for the children

• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas

• Encourage proper hygiene and healthy routines

Play, Activities & Engagement

• Organize age-appropriate games and creative activities

• Supervise outdoor play and safe recreation

• Plan engaging educational activities while awaiting parents’ return

Parental Coordination & End-of-Day Prep

• Update parents on daily activities and milestones

• Ensure children are prepared for the next school day

• Support a smooth handoff when parents return from work

Qualifications & Requirements

This role is ideal for an experienced, reliable nanny who thrives in an after-school environment and can balance fun, structure, and academic support:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional childcare experience

• Prior experience with school-aged children preferred

• CPR & First Aid Certified

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Excellent communication skills and positive energy

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
