Elite Nannies Miami was founded in 2011 with a single conviction: that the families of South Florida deserved a luxury nanny agency with the standards, discretion, and depth of expertise typically reserved for executive search. Thalya built the agency from the ground up — growing a client base of over 600 families, developing proprietary candidate vetting processes, and earning a reputation among Miami’s most discerning families as the agency they call first.
Today, Elite Nannies Miami specializes in placements for ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth families across Miami, Coral Gables, Brickell, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Palm Beach, and beyond — with placements extending nationally and internationally for families with multiple residences. Services include full-time and part-time nanny placement, live-in nanny placement, newborn care specialist placement, family assistant placement, and household manager recruitment.
Every candidate placed by Elite Nannies Miami undergoes a rigorous screening process that goes beyond background checks and references. Thalya’s clinical background in sensory regulation and child development informs the agency’s signature candidate assessment approach — including behavioral profiling using DISC methodology — ensuring that families receive not just a qualified caregiver, but the right human fit for their household culture and their children’s needs.

Elite Household HR offers comprehensive household HR infrastructure: employment agreements, compensation benchmarking, onboarding protocols, performance management systems, and ongoing advisory support designed to bring Fortune 500-level HR practices into the private home.
For ultra-high-net-worth families managing multiple staff members, domestic employees, and household operations, Elite Household HR is the partner that brings structure, compliance, and professionalism to one of the most personal and often overlooked areas of household management.

Thalya was born and raised in South Florida — the daughter of Colombian and Lebanese immigrants who taught her, from a very early age, that community is not just where you live. It is what you build together. That value has never left her.
She is an active volunteer with the University of Miami CARD Center (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities), supporting programming and outreach for individuals with autism and their families. She volunteers with Global Empowerment Mission, contributing to humanitarian relief efforts and care box packaging for vulnerable communities around the world. She serves as a Sunday School teacher for preschool and kindergarten children at St. Jude Melkite Catholic Church in Miami, and volunteers in fundraising and gala coordination for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Miami Chapter — including the annual Angels and Stars Gala — and at St. Jude Catholic Church in Florida.
Community involvement is not a footnote at Elite Household HR and Elite Nannies Miami. It is part of the firm’s identity. Thalya believes that the same values that make someone an exceptional caregiver — empathy, accountability, genuine investment in the people in your care — are the values that build strong communities. She brings both to everything she does.

The Training Behind Every Placement Decision
Thalya holds an MBA in International Business from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Florida State University. She is an HRCI Human Resources Associate Professional certificate holder and has completed advanced training in behavioral assessment, sensory regulation, and child development — credentials that directly inform the depth and quality of Elite Nannies Miami’s candidate evaluation process.
