This is an immediate, confidential search for an experienced childcare professional who genuinely thrives on the energy of an active household — someone equally comfortable on the floor building LEGOs and managing a travel pack list for three boys under six.

About the Position
This is a full-time, W-2 position, live-out during the year with live-in accommodations provided during family travel. The family is based in Coconut Grove, Miami, and lives with real intention — they travel extensively, spending portions of the summer in Michigan and Europe, and their household reflects both the warmth of a true family home and the organization of a high-functioning private estate.
At the heart of this home are three young boys — 5-year-old twins and a 3-year-old — full of energy, curiosity, and personality. This is not a role for someone seeking a quiet, predictable position; it is a role for a nanny and family assistant who genuinely thrives in the demanding, rewarding rhythm of an active family and wants to become a trusted, long-term member of the household.
The family employs professional housekeeping staff, so this is not a housekeeping role. When the boys are at school or in activities, the family assistant is expected to contribute to a functional household — light kitchen tidy-up, grocery runs and errands, packing for travel, and keeping supplies stocked. The family also has a Goldendoodle, and comfort around dogs is required, though pet care is a minor, occasional part of the role.
Schedule & Travel
Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime paid at 1.5x for all hours worked over 40. The typical Miami schedule runs Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 PM–8:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with Sunday and Monday off except for required travel or special coverage.
Travel is a genuine and important part of this role, not an occasional exception. The family typically spends extended time in Michigan and Europe each summer and travels throughout the year, with schedules provided approximately two weeks in advance. During extended summer travel, a rotational schedule provides longer consecutive periods off while maintaining comparable weekly hours. A valid U.S. passport is a non-negotiable requirement, and all travel expenses — airfare, accommodations, and approved costs — are covered by the family, with a private bedroom provided during travel whenever possible.
Compensation and Benefits
This placement offers:
- Hourly rate: $30.00–$38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x the applicable rate for all hours over 40 per workweek
- 100% employer-paid health insurance premium
- Optional dental and vision insurance through employee-paid pre-tax deductions
- 152 hours of PTO per calendar year, provided as one combined bank for vacation, illness, holidays, and personal time
- Discretionary year-end performance bonus
- Annual compensation review based on performance, responsibilities, and market conditions
- All travel expenses covered by the family

- Is comfortable with dogs — the family’s Goldendoodle is part of the household
