About This Part-Time Nanny Job in Miami Beach
Schedule
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Three weeks each year of full-time coverage while the family’s full-time nanny is on vacation
- Additional hours may become available depending on household needs
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
For candidates with both childcare and elder care experience, this opportunity has the potential to grow into a full-time position supporting an elderly family member. Otherwise, the position will remain part-time.
Part-Time Nanny Job Responsibilities
Childcare
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 2-year-old child
- Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate educational activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Assist with bath and evening routines when needed
- Foster a calm, structured, positive environment
- Keep the child’s bedroom, play areas, clothing, and belongings beautifully organized
Household Management
- Perform complete family laundry with exceptional care for luxury garments, linens, and delicate fabrics
- Organize closets, wardrobes, seasonal clothing, and storage systems
- Maintain a polished, organized household throughout the week
- Make beds and refresh living spaces daily
- Assist with pantry, playroom, storage, and organization projects
- Monitor household supplies and communicate needs proactively
Pet Care
- Walk and feed the family pet(s)
- Maintain clean pet areas
- Monitor pet supply inventory
- Communicate any concerns promptly
