Full-Time Nanny Miami Beach – Active Toddler & Newborn Care

A welcoming, hands-on family relocating from Brooklyn to Mid-Beach, Miami, is seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old toddler and newborn (due July 2025). Full-Time Nanny Miami Beach Schedule & Location

• Location: Mid-Beach, Miami, FL

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Flexibility: Occasional evening coverage with prior notice

• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience (DOE)

• Benefits: Paid time off, holidays, and sick leave

About the Role

The nanny’s role will evolve through three key phases:

Phase 1: Toddler-Focused Care (March–May 2025)

• Provide full-time care for a 2.5-year-old boy

• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities: park outings, art, soccer, and enrichment classes

• Support daily routines: snacks, meals, nap transitions, and potty time

• Keep a tidy, engaging, and fun environment

Phase 2: Summer & Newborn Transition (June–September 2025)

• Support occasional drop-off and pickup from summer camp (8:30 AM–2:30 PM)

• Begin newborn care post-July birth while helping with after-camp care for toddler

• Work collaboratively with the parents during the newborn stage

Phase 3: School Year Support & Dual Care (September 2025 onward)

• Toddler attends school during the same camp hours

• Focus on full-day care for the newborn while managing both children after school hours

• Monitor developmental milestones, provide nurturing support, and maintain family routines

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan educational, creative, and active play tailored to both age groups

• Drive children to activities or playdates (vehicle may be provided)

• Prepare nutritious meals/snacks and manage child-related household tasks

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized child-centered environment

• Provide parents with daily updates, photos, and milestone reports via group text

• Support potty-trained toddler with independence-building activities

• Oversee light cleaning, laundry, and tidying related to children

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish or Finnish language skills a plus

• Minimum 5 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers

• Valid U.S. work authorization

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)

• Physically active, emotionally grounded, and organized

• Willing to submit a background check and provide verifiable childcare references

• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic home

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or Montessori philosophy

• Familiarity with Miami Beach and its child-friendly venues

• Knowledge of developmental play strategies and age-appropriate curriculum

• Pet-friendly (there are no current pets, but a love for animals is welcome)

• Willingness to adapt to a collaborative, hands-on parenting style
