When a Miami family calls Elite Nannies Miami for a top-tier caregiver, we know they want more than child-minding—they want a mentor, teacher, and lifelong partner in their child’s growth. If you have 10 or more years of hands-on experience guiding toddlers past every milestone and into new realms of discovery, this role could be your perfect fit.

Why This Position Stands Out

  • Direct Impact on Development – You’ll harness a rich library of books, Montessori materials, and STEM toys to transform everyday moments into enrichment opportunities.
  • Long-Term Partnership – The parents each grew up with a dedicated nanny and want the same continuity for their son (and a future sibling).
  • Global Adventures – Expect 4–5 international trips a year (think Seoul and beyond) where you’ll keep routines running smoothly while exploring new cultures.

About the Family & Their Vision

Located in a tranquil Miami neighborhood, the family works from a home office yet trusts their nanny to take the daily lead. Their two-year-old is curious but selective in forming bonds; winning his heart calls for patience, imaginative play, and an educator’s intuition. Over time, the role can evolve into a combined nanny–house-manager position, handling light household scheduling once another child arrives.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Curate Milestone-Focused Play
    • Craft themed lesson plans (colors, numbers, language, music) using the family’s educational resources.
  2. Foster Secure Attachment
    • Guide smooth transitions when parents enter or exit the play space.
    • Build trust through consistency, empathy, and positive reinforcement.
  3. Introduce Healthy Foods
    • Plan toddler-friendly menus and make trying new flavors a game.
  4. Travel Ready
    • Maintain routines on planes, in hotels, and abroad—no screen-time reliance.
  5. Grow with the Household
    • Eventually coordinate vendors, errands, and family calendars as a junior house manager.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years full-time nannying with infants and toddlers.
  • Formal early-childhood education (Montessori, RIE, CDA, or similar).
  • Documented success helping toddlers exceed milestones—share your stories!
  • Native-level English; a second language is a bonus.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license, spotless driving record, up-to-date passport.
  • CPR/First-Aid certification, stellar references, clear background screen.
  • Authorized to work in the United States (W-2).

Schedule, Compensation & Perks

  • Live-in, full-time (steady weekly hours with flexibility for travel).
  • Competitive salary aligned with South Florida’s premier placements.
  • Private bedroom and en-suite bath in the family residence (upgraded quarters when they relocate).
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and all travel costs covered.
