I wanted to share with all of you a journal article I found while researching effective communication skills with parents and teachers/ ABA therapists. One thing I always heard when I was the Executive Director at a school for autism and similar disorders from both parents and teachers was how hard it may sometimes be to be on the same page or to communicate in an effective manner. I think this is quite important, especially since at the end of the day, both teachers and parents are working for one end goal, to facilitate a student’s growth to their fullest potential.
The tips in this article are great for any parent whether you may have any issues or not in communicating effectively with a teacher/ ABA therapist/ School Director, etc.
